The assistant Managing Broker position is a fulltime salary position. You will be working closely with our Managing Broker, support teams, and C-suite team. The assistant Managing Broker will provide excellent support to our brokers through training, coaching, answering questions and giving direction on all aspects of real estate, including our technology platforms, marketing systems, and promoting our company services.

Job Description

  • Plan and coordinate our sales and marketing events
  • As part of our broker support team you will be assisting our brokers by answering questions about real estate transactions, license law, and Realtor ® code of ethics
  • Assist with new licensee transactions
  • Assist compliance department to make sure transactions meet all legal and compliance requirements
  • Assist our brokers with technology and training tools, along with motivating and encouraging our brokers along their pathway to success in their real estate careers
  • Assist our brokers with developing business plans
  • Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of training programs
  • Assist our brokers and teams providing ongoing training and support helping them to increase productivity and achieve their business goals
  • Assist designated managing broker with customer service issues, broker to broker, and consumer as they may arise
  • Support our recruiting department by promoting broker referrals
  • Facilitate weekly webinars to engage our brokers in current market trends and create opportunities to increase their productivity

Requirements

  • Have an existing Illinois managing broker’s license or able to get one within 6 months with at least 2 years active experience licensed as an Illinois real estate broker.
  • Two years of sales management experience preferred
  • Must be experienced in all aspects of residential real estate transactions and negotiations
  • Must have a detailed knowledge of real estate laws, Code of Ethics, contracts, and real estate procedures
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Must be skilled in problem solving
  • Strong relationship builder able to develop and maintain highly productive relationships within and outside our brokerage to further the growth of our company and award-winning customer service
  • Experience in real estate marketing techniques, strong social media skills, proficient with technology and use in real estate.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and virtual collaborative tools
  • Aspirations to grow within the company
  • Always learning and excited to be a member of a highly motivated winning management team
  • Based out of our corporate office in Mokena with required travel to our other offices as needed

Success in the job will be measured by broker productivity on a company wide basis, broker satisfaction and retention, and broker engagement with company services

From 45-55k based on industry knowledge, ability, and experience

Location: Mokena based travel to other offices as needed

Fulltime M-F in office and on call as needed after hours for broker support

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
